WTA Dubai Open: Sania, Bethanie win final of women's doubles



 Indo-American pair of Sania Mirrza and Bethanie Mattek Sands has won the women's double's final at the WTA Dubai Open Tennis Championship . In a  final today, they defeated Russian-Slovenian combination of Nadia Petrova and Katarina Srebotnik 6-4,2-6,10-7. The match went into a tie breaker .

Sania Mirza and Bethanie Mattek Sands won the first set 6-4. But their rivals Petrova and Srebotnik came from behind in the second set to square off the match. In the tie breaker Sania-Bethanie combine prevailed to bag the title.

In the Singles category, former World number one and tournament sixth seed Petra Kvitova will take on Italy’s Sarra Errani in a short while from now.
