Bullet rails to link Singapore, Kuala Lumpur


Malaysia and Singapore will build a high-speed railway connecting their capital cities.

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak and Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced on Tuesday that the two countries had  agreed to build the high-speed rail link by 2020.The railway will cover the 300-kilometer distance between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in about 90 minutes.

  Two leaders said in a joint statement that the high-speed train is a strategic development that will dramatically improve the connectivity between Malaysia and Singapore,thus  the project will give both countries a greater stake in each other's prosperity and success.
