SAD's manifesto for Punjab polls



Punjab Assembly elections  just round the corner, SAD  out to woo voters with more promises. 

The Shiromani Akali Dal has expressed its commitment to infrastructure development and compulsory IT education for the people of Punjab.In its poll manifesto released in Ludhiana on Sunday, the party has promised laptops to higher secondary students in the state.
Speaking to reporters in Chandigarh, BJP leader Uma Bharati said development is her party’s main agenda. She expressed the hope that the SAD-BJP combine would come back to power in the state.
Congress spokesperson Rashid Alvi questioned SAD-BJP government’s promises on IT education in Punjab.Talking to media persons, he asked the state government what it had done in this sector during its rule for the last five years.
