Manish Tewari emphasises on self regulation of media

Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari emphasises on self regulation of the media and inaugurates Linguistic Journalism Festival of SAARC countries at Indore. 

Addressing the function at Press Club in Indore, he said that UPA Government believes that self-regulation of media will enable more stability in media.
Manish Tewari said that digitisation should be viewed as bridging the gap between cable operators and ultimate users.
During the two-day-long event, delegates of SAARC countries will deliberate on key issues associated with language journalism.
