BRICS nations condemn human rights violation in Syria

BRICS nations condemned the increasing violations of human rights and international humanitarian law due to continuing violence in Syria.
The Durban Declaration issued at the end of the 5th BRICS Summit expressed deep concern of on the deterioration of security and humanitarian situation in Syria.
The Brics countries also expressed grave concern over deterioration of situation in the Central African Republic. BRICS welcomed the admission of Palestine as a member of United nations.
On Afghanistan, the BRICS said, the country needs time, development assistance and FDI, access to world markets and a clear end-stat strategy to attain peace and stability.
The BRICS also called for reform of International financial institutions to make them more representatives to reflect the weightage of BRICS and other developing nations.
BRICS expressed concern at the slow pace of reforms of the International Monetary Fund.
It also concurred that the new Director General of World Trade organizations should be a representative of a developing country
