Govt rejects Ratan Tata's remarks on industrial policy



A statement of Ratan Tata, has created ripples in political circles as the outgoing head of Tata business empire, has blamed lack of coherence in government policy for Indian industry not able to compete with China.

In an interview to published ahead of his retirement as chairman this month, Ratan Tata claimed that group's ethical standards had cost it business.
Tata told the 'Financial Times' that his Group planned to look to other emerging markets for expansion.
Meanwhile, government has strongly countered the charge.
It blamed so called NGO nexus for maligning the government and slowdown also.
BJP also urged government to ensure that Investors get a favorable climate.
