Ravishankar Singh and Ateet Gaur emerged winners from among 100 golfers in the handicap categories of 0-12 and 13-24, respectively, in the Godrej Properties Intra-Club tournament played at the Classic Golf Resort, Gurgaon over the weekend.
Singh and Gaur thus won the right to represent Classic Golf Resort in the national finals of the Godrej Properties Inter-Club Golf Tournament, to be played in Bangkok from April 18 to 20, 2013, involving the top four golf playing clubs in the country.
Ravishankar Singh, carded two birdies and had ten pars to register 38 points and win the 0-12 handicap category, followed home by Amit Luthra.
Ateet Gaur emerged winner in the 13-24 handicap category, carded one birdie and had eight pars to register 40 points, followed home by Vivek Sheel Aggarwal.
The Godrej Properties Inter-Club Golf Tournament will feature more than 800 amateur golfers from four of the best golf clubs in the country, namely Willingdon Sports Club, Mumbai; Karnataka Golf Association, Bangalore; Classic Golf Resort, Gurgaon and The Tollygunge Golf Club, Kolkata).
