5.4 magnitude quake hits Mexico

The US Geological Survey has measured a 5.4 magnitude quake in the Mexican state of Guerrero. The epicenter of the seismic event was located 12 kilometers from the city of Atoyac de Álvarez, at a depth of 24 kilometers, and was felt throughout Mexico City as well. Authorities have ordered some structures evacuated near the epicenter, though no major damage has yet been reported in the capital.
