India – ASEAN relationship has been moving at a very rapid pace, touching US $ 80 billion of Trade in 2011-12. The momentum of this relationship is so high that the target US $150 billion mark does not seem too far. Within ASEAN the natural resource potential of CLMV Countries offers further opportunities for Indian Industry for enhancing Investment and Industrial development in the region.
The Delhi Dialogue is an annual India-ASEAN Conference of Industrial Leaders, Think Tanks, Academics and Policy makers of ASEAN countries with their Indian counterparts, to discuss how to intensify and broaden political, strategic and economic interaction between the two regions. ASEAN Foreign Ministers and who’s who of the Government & Industry will participate in Delhi Dialogue.
We have a pleasure in inviting you at the Delhi Dialogue – V, being organized by FICCI in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs & Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), on 20 February, 2013, at Federation House, FICCI, New Delhi.
The theme for the Delhi Dialogue V is ‘India – ASEAN: Vision for Partnership and Prosperity’, which seeks to highlight India’s increasing engagement with ASEAN countries and explore the agenda for consolidation of this relationship in the coming years. This Dialogue will also attempt to discuss the issues and perspectives which emerge from the India-ASEAN Commemorative Summit 2012 and identify areas of greater economic engagement between India and ASEAN.
