court today said in 2G scam HM P Chidambaram cannot be made him an accused in the 2G case
holding that he did not indulge in any criminal conspiracy or derived
any pecuniary advantage with the then Telecom Min A Raja.Thus relief for Home Minister P Chidambaram, as Delhi court today dismissed a
petition by Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy to make
him a co-accused in the 2G spectrum case. Subramanian Swamy today said he will appeal in higher courts.
Terming the trial court''s decision to dismiss the petition against P Chidambaram as a "relief" for the government, Law Minister Salman Khurshid today said he was "happy" for the Home Minister as well as the justice delivery system.BJP today said the verdict would not change the "corrupt" image of the government and the party would continue to raise the issue of his political accountability before the nation.
