El Instituto Cervantes y la Embajada de Venezuela
le invita a la inauguración de la muestra de cine venezolano que dará
comienzo este domingo 5 de agosto a las 4.30pm en el Auditorio con:
"Desnudo con naranjas"
Sinopsis:
Desnudo con Naranjas es
una historia de amor que plasma la realidad de la época y los elementos
típicos de la cultura latinoamericana.
Trata sobre un capitán
sin nombre (Daniel Alvarado), indio alistado en el Ejército Liberal. Un
día sus hombres descubren a una mujer muda, blanca y hambrienta (Lourdes
Valera), en uno de los albergues que utilizaban para reposar durante la
noche. El capitán debe tranquilizar los apetitos barbáricos de sus
hombres y evitar que la mujer fuese molestada. Desde ese instante, el
capitán esta forzado a escoger entre su futuro y la salvación de ella.

"Nude with oranges"
Synopsis:
Nude
with oranges leads you to a journey through a very difficult period of
Venezuela’s history: the Venezuela's Federal War. It is a witness of a
very original period with a love story with typical elements of the
Latinamerican culture. The film maintains a light, comic touch that
keeps you involved in it.
It
is about a captain (Daniel Alvarado), an unnamed Indian officer in the
Federal Army. One day, Capitan's men discover a mute, hungriest white
woman (Lourdes Valera) in one of the houses where they stop for the
night. Taking pity on the unfortunate soul, the Capitan curbs the
barbaric appetites of the men and allows the woman to remain unmolested.
The next day, fighting breaks out, and all of Capitan's men are killed.
Alone, he makes his way back to the command post, only to discover that
Little Mute has followed him. His attempts to chase her away fail, and,
eventually, since then is forced to choose between her safety and his
future.
