CII’s National Conference and Annual General Meeting 2012 is scheduled on 17th and 18th of April 2012 at Hotel Taj Palace, Sardar Patel Marg, New Delhi. The theme for the National Conference is “Industry’s Role in Nation Building: Government - Industry Partnership”. Mr Pranab Mukherjee, Union Finance Minister is the Chief Guest for the National Conference.
The National Conference would bring together Union Ministers, Chief Ministers, key political leaders, policy makers, strategic thinkers, industry leaders and media to deliberate on issues that will help create an enabling environment where industry can play a greater role in Nation Building. Over 1000 leaders from industry and other fields are expected to attend the event. Key sessions are expected to focus on subjects like (a) Financing India’s Growth; (b) Governance : The Key to a developed India; (c) New Phase of Industrialisation : The Imperative of Procedural Reforms; (d) States - Driving the Next Phase of Reforms and (e) Inclusive Growth - The Imperative of Affirmative Action and Skills Development.
