The Jubilee Tower has been designed as per LEED-Platinum Green Building norms. The building has its own captive power generation plant using gas engine generators and the waste heat recovered is used to run the Air Conditioning system. A 30 KW solar power plant has been installed for area lighting. Its electricity load will be 40 % less than other similar high-rises. The entire natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas network of GAIL can be monitored from the NGMC, the first of its kind in India.
The construction of the building was completed in just four years. Fly ash bricks and environment friendly cement, wood and paint materials were also used. The building has a sewage treatment plant and rainwater harvesting system and has zero water discharge to the surroundings.
