​WHAT: ​ People’s March in Defence of the Republic

WHEN: ​January 30, 2016 ​from 11.30 to 4 pm

WHERE: ​March will start from Mandi House at 11.30 am and pass through Barakhamba Road, Tolstoy Marg and culminate at Jantar Mantar​

As announced earlier we members of the Indian public are deeply concerned with the grave assaults that are being mounted on the Republic. In the light of these adverse developments more than 60 campaigns, movements and organizations are coming together to register our concern through a People’s March in Defence of the Republic to be held on January 30, 2016. Thousands of people from civil society movements are expected to join the march.         

              

​​March will start from Mandi House at 11.30 am and pass through Barakhamba Road, Tolstoy Marg and culminate at Jantar Mantar where cultural events will be held from 1 to 4 pm.

Kindly depute a reporter and a photographer to cover the People’s March.
