Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara attended the Maimouna festivities in Or Akiva this evening.
Prime Minister Netanyahu said:
“First I would like to wish everyone a happy holiday. Enjoy and eat! I would like to tell you that my family – Sara, the boys and myself – traveled during the holiday like so many families in Israel. We saw the great momentum that one sees in our country. Everywhere you go you see progress – roads being paved, communities expanding; it seems that some of them need help in expanding even faster. There is very great momentum in the State of Israel and we are committed to continuing it by seeing to three things.
First, the unity of the nation. This finds expression on Maimouna. The dust of the elections has settled. We must strengthen unity among the citizens and people of Israel, and this we will do.
Second, the welfare of the people. We are committed to continuing the impressive accelerated economic development of the State of Israel. However, this must be accompanied by lowering the cost of living, especially housing prices. To this end, we must increase supply; we must increase supply by many ways, and thus we will do. We promised to do this and this will be the first mission of the government that – with G-d’s help – I will quickly form.
Third, perhaps first, we must see to the security of the country. We face great and manifold challenges, the greatest of which has been, and remains, Iran’s effort to develop nuclear weapons capabilities. To my regret, all of the things I warned about vis-à-vis the framework agreement that was put together in Lausanne are coming true before our eyes. This framework gives the leading terrorist state in the world a certain path to nuclear bombs, which would threaten Israel, the Middle East and the entire world. We see that Iran is being left with significant nuclear capabilities; it is not dismantling them, it is preserving them. We also see that the inspection is not serious. How can such a country be trusted?! As of now there is no real monitoring. We see that the sanctions are being lifted, immediately, according to Iran’s demand, and this is without Iran having changed its policy of aggression everywhere, not just against Israel, but in Yemen, the Bab el-Mandeb, the Middle East and through global terrorist networks. The most dangerous terrorist state in the world must not be allowed to have the most dangerous weapons in the world. Therefore, we are committed to try and prevent the bad agreement and replace it with a good agreement.
I would like to wish all of you that your wishes come true, that our country continues to flourish, prosper and grow and I assure you that I will do everything to see to national unity, the national welfare and the security of Israel.
A happy holiday to all. Eat and enjoy!”

DATSUN ‘DRIVE-ON’ CELEBRATES BRAND’S 1st ANNIVERSARY IN INDIA
  • To celebrate at 100 locations with underprivileged children
DELHI, India (April 11, 2015) – Datsun marked its first year in India by hosting the ‘Datsun Drive-On’ cavalcade in Delhi that saw over 100 Datsun owners coming together to celebrate the brand’s first anniversary in the market. Datsun will also celebrate the occasion with underprivileged children at 100 locations across India.
The start of the ‘Datsun Drive-On’ convoy, consisting of an impressive line-up of Datsun GO and GO+ cars, was flagged off by Guillaume Sicard, President, Nissan India Operations and Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana in the capital city. The ‘Datsun Drive-On’ celebratory drive will also be hosted across seven cities including Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Cochin, Ahmedabad and Guwahati.

The convoys celebrate the first year since the Datsun GO hatchback went on sale in 2014. The celebrations in Delhi were marked by a musical performance including a jamming session with the talented Ayushmann Khurrana, with Guillaume Sicard joining him on stage.
Giving the signal for the ‘Datsun Drive-On’ to start, Mr. Sicard said, India was the first market to begin selling Datsun products after it was announced in 2012 that the brand would be reintroduced, and we are proud to celebrate this milestone in Datsun’s history in India.
Since then Datsun has had an encouraging year both in India – where our happy customers are a testimony to this – as well as other world markets. ‘Datsun Drive-On’ is our way of showing our strong commitment towards our customers. Both Datsun GO and GO+ have been received well in India and we look forward to adding more products to our portfolio in the future.”
Talking about his association Datsun, Ayushmann Khurrana said, “I am very proud to be associated with Datsun. It is a young and dynamic brand that resonates with my personality completely. It has been a great experience today to meet Datsun owners and get to know their experiences with their cars. This has strengthened my belief in the brand”.
Conceived with the vision of “mobility for all”, the Datsun GO was made available to Indian customers in early April last year and Datsun GO+ was added to the stable earlier this year in January. Datsun vehicles are available across 176 Nissan-Datsun Dealerships and standalone outlets in India.
AAP thanks Delhi govt for highest ever compensation to farmers
Aam Aadmi Party thanks the Delhi government for its announcement of unprecedented compensation to the farmers whose crops have been destroyed by the recent unseasonal rains and hailstorm in Delhi.
The decision of the Arvind Kejriwal government to provide a compensation of Rs 50,000 per hectare (Rs 20,000 per acre) to every affected farmer is highest ever by any government in the country.
The AAP government has proved its pro-people character in each of its decision so far and the farmers compensation in Delhi should serve as an eye-opener for other state governments where farmers crops have been destroyed.
The party appreciates the Delhi government’s plan of providing subsidy to farmers for the purchase of seeds and fertilizers and also quick tubewell connections for irrigation. No government in Delhi had so far addressed the important concerns of farmers.
Reports from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra along with utterly condemnable and irresponsible statements from some union ministers present a sorry picture about the insensitivity towards the plight of farmers across the country.
The callous attitude of several state governments, including some BJP ruled states on compensation for farmers along with the adamant attitude of the Narendra Modi government at the centre in imposing the anti-farmer land acquisition ordinance has exposed its real face.
At a time when farmers across many states are facing acute hardships clearly visible with the reports of suicides from many places across the country, it is shocking that the Modi government instead of addressing their concerns is busy in compounding their miseries by looking at all possible ways to please corporates by facilitating forcible acquisitions through this ordinance.
The AAP appeals to all its volunteers to ensure a resounding success of the April 22 march to Parliament against Modi government’s anti-farmer land acquisition ordinance.

New era of US-Cuba ties

Apr 12
US President Barack Obama and Cuban President Raul Castro met on the sidelines of the Summit of the Americas in Panama last night. It was the first formal talks between the leaders of the two countries in half a century, and the first full meeting since the historic thaw began in December. Earlier, addressing the summit, the US President described the thaw as a turning point. At the beginning of his session with Castro, Obama said, this is obviously an historic meeting.
He said that decades of strain had done little to benefit either Cubans or citizens of the United States. He also said that immediate tasks include normalising diplomatic relationships between the two countries and opening a US embassy in Havana and a Cuban embassy in Washington DC.
In his address, the Cuban President called for the lifting of the US economic blockade on Cuba, in place since 1959. After a speech largely taken up with the history of US-Cuba relations, Castro described Obama an honest man.

Thousands of people took to streets to applaud the move amid Jamaat-e-Islami’s call for a nationwide protest strike. Quamaruzzaman was buried at his ancestral home in northern Sherpur after his execution late last night.
Police said sporadic violence was reported with Jamaat activists vandalising at least two buses and exploding two crude bombs at Sobhanbagh in Dhaka around noon during a rally to protest the execution.
Meanwhile, victory marches were staged at major cities and towns across the country calling for the completion of other war crimes cases.

India & France Sign An Mou to Establish a Marine Biology Institute

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed yesterday in the presence of Prime Ministers of India & France during the visit Shri Narendra Modi to France, for establishing an Institute for frontier Marine Science & Technology Research in the five years.
Under the MOU India’s Department of Biotechnology would  join hands with the Université Pierre Et Marie Curie (UPMC) and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (France’s National Centre for Scientific Research- CNRS) to set up a the National Institute of Marine Biology and Biotechnology in India. As a part of thisFrance would contribute expertise in developing high standard marine stations for collaborative research programmes, train manpower, facilitate setting up efficient research infrastructure, facilities & technologies. Indian would bring interest & proficiency in cell & molecular biology & biotechnology. It will also provide Indian researchers access to the French marine stations with extraordinary technical capabilities.
The Institute will carry out fundamental science research with a multidisciplinary approach and will collaboratively address the most important topics in marine biology and marine biotechnology.
India’s several marine zones offer immense resources which can be tapped for biology and biotechnology research. Applications of molecules and bio-materials discovered from marine sources are also numerous. Butmost of the resources remain poorly charted and relatively untouched. The country can boast of a handful oftalented biologists, who can rapidly chart our marine and island diversity, make discoveries and apply them to human and animal welfare. They can be potential leaders in this venture.
The charting of our Island diversity will soon be accomplished in collaboration with ISRO and the deep seaexploration will be done in collaboration with the Earth Sciences Ministry.
This collaboration is expected to address this challenge by upgrading human resources, boosting capacity and sophisticated technology needed to explore high-speed and high-quality Ocean and island- biology at the highest international level.
The French have a chain of the world’s best marine stations (Roskoff, Banyuls and Villefranche) and these are linked to other European marine stations. Harnessing the expertise they have developed in the area, can help speed up the process which would take years to develop independently.
The collaboration will help set up a high-tech hub and two major ‘spokes’ in mainland India. These centres will train a new generation of marine biologists and bio-technologists in the use of the best scientific methods and techniques. In parallel, India will develop its own marine stations while learning from this collaborative hub. Thesmaller stations will be set up in chosen locations from the Andamans to Kutch and Lakshadweep escalating the development of the country’s own programmes.
Aam Aadmi Party statement on Union FINANCE Minister’s suggestion to discourage Public Interest Litigations (PILs) :
Close on the heels of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s veiled suggestion to the country’s top judiciary to be tough on civil right activists and NGOs, FINANCE Minister Arun Jaitley has now expounded another anti-people idea to discourage activists seeking to bring to light the truth of government and corporate linkage through PILs.
The suggestion of the FINANCE Minister to make it mandatory for those filing PILs against the government on development projects to declare their source of funds is a move in sync with the Modi government’s continuous efforts to curb voices against the anti-people policies of the government.
While Modi sought to muzzle the right thinking voices in the country against the increasing radical tendencies by suggesting to the judiciary to be harsh on them, theFINANCE Minister through his suggestion has send in a feeler to all PIL activists to shun the path of seeking truth or else they are sure to be harassed with his department retaliating with full vengeance.
It should be noted that BJP under Modi came to power on the anti-corruption plank pioneered by the civil society activists and major scams like the coal scam, 2G spectrum scam and many other came to light and was pursued to bring the culprits to book through the PIL and many right thinking citizens contributed selflessly to expose the corrupt syndicate of the government and corporate.
It seems that the government under Modi foresees a similar fate like that of UPA and hence are making enough arrangements in advance to make themselves immune to legal action and punishments.
Apart from shunting voices against the government, the Modi-Jaitley duo through their suggestion also seek to protest the corrupt practices of the corporate. Any such move will fought to the end by the Aam Aadmi Party inside and outside the Parliament. The people of the country are aware of the sinister plan of the Modi government and will teach them a fitting lesson in the coming elections.

7000 Fold increase in Price of Land Acquisition to Retail – SC
April12, 2015 (C) Ravinder Singh ravinderinvent@gmail.com

Supreme Court in its judgment of July02, 2013 admitted to Price of Land Acquisition Notified in 22-03-2003 for Phase-II to be as low as Rs,1,75,000 per acre but HSIIDC retailed it for Rs.77,54,34,189 per acre on 11-09-2010 and earlier bulk purchase price on 30-06-2006 was Rs.68.61 Crores Per acre for Ex-P6.

SC didn’t consider Rs.68 crore deposited in Bank would have been worth Rs.90 crores and invested in stock Market would have been say Rs.200 crores.

This Is 7000 TIMES Notified Price – Farmers Were Illegally Denied Capitalization Of Their Wealth and Ancestral Property.

HSIIDC in 2008 allotted 600 acres of land to Maruti Udyog at Rs.19,00,000 / acre.

Such a situation arise when Firstly Farmers are not able to Hire ‘COMPETENT ADVOCATE’ and Secondly ‘Advocates They Engage Are Batting For Corporate.’

As Collector Notification of 22.7.2003 There Was Big DISCRIMINATION Within Village and Source of MEGA Corruption. Land value is Notified between Rs.1,75,000 to Rs.10,00,000 to DIVIDE farmers or Landowners.

How is that Farm Land Value Is Based On Productivity?

SC also didn’t Consider That Farmers Can Themselves Offer LandTo Industry orCut Plots For Commercial Purpose or Set Up Own Industry To ADD VALUE TO THEIR LAND HOLDINGS BUT NOT ALLOWED.

Why Can’t Indians SUBSIDIZE LAND FOR INDUSTRIES & SEZs?

Importantly Companies Acquire Land Many Times Their Requirement Funded By Public Bank Deposits – RIL 10X Land For Jamnagar Refinery.

Jitu Rai’s 10m Air Pistol Bronze Highlight of Competition Day Three at Changwon Shooting World Cup

  Edit
Jitu’s seventh consecutive Medal in World Shooting events since June, 2014
New Delhi, 12 April 2015: It looks impossible to halt the Jitu Rai juggernaut. Just when one felt that the diminutive Army Pistol ace’s Medal winning spree at World Shooting events would come to an end, he pulled out the proverbial ‘rabbit out of the hat’ in the Men’s 10m Air Pistol event at the ongoing Shooting World Cup (Rifle/Pistol) in Changwon, Korea to clinch the Bronze Medal. This is Jitu’s seventh continuous Medal in World Shooting events, a run which started way back in June, 2014. What makes this Medal even more special is the fact that Jitu disappointed yesterday in his pet 50m Pistol, finishing 21st, in an event where he is ranked 2nd in the world and one in which he had won India her first Olympic quota place at the World Championships in Granada last year, with a Silver winning performance.
At one stage it looked all lost, when Jitu overcame a sluggish start in the qualification round, where shooters have to shoot a total of 60 shots, to just about make it to the final round in 8th position with a score of 581. In the eight man final as well, Jitu started off very slowly, unable to score 10 or more with his shots with any form of regularity, before coming into his own midway through the finals to clinch the Bronze. Jitu’s Korean rival and world number one Jin Jongoh, was meanwhile shooting on a different planet and won Gold with a Finals World Record score of 206. Nuang Ye Tun of Malaysia won the Silver Medal in the event.
“We are delighted to see another Bronze coming our way through Jitu’s performance today. The phenomenon of Jitu Rai has surfaced again, adding to his rich haul of medals since last year. This only showcases the class that this young Army Marksman possesses and what strength he adds to the Indian contingent. I would also like to thank the Armed Forces for their continuous efforts towards providing top class shooters without fail,” said Mr. Raninder Singh, President, NRAI after Jitu’s win today.
In other news from India’s shooting contingent in Changwon, Jitu’s compatriots in the 10m Air Pistol, Prakash Nanjappa and Gurpreet Singh finished 18th and 48th respectively in the qualification round. Chain Singh did well to qualify for the eight man final in the Men’s 50m Rifle Prone event ahead of established stars like Gagan Narang and finished sixth in the finals. Chain had shot 623.4 to qualify for the finals in seventh position. In the Women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions, Elizabeth Susan Koshy shot 580 in her elimination round to finish fourth, while Lajja Gauswami and Anjali Bhagwat in their respective elimination rounds finished fifth and eighth respectively with scores of 568 and 567.
