INDIA, February 19, 2014: As growing volumes of enterprise data continue adding pressure on datacenters worldwide, IntelIndia outlined its growth charter backed by Intel’s most advanced Big Data solutions delivering real time Analytics to enterprisesin India. Announcing the launch of the Intel® Xeon® processor E7 v2 Product Family, Intel elaborated its roadmap for these solutions in India with specific focus on verticals like retail, healthcare and manufacturing in the first phase of growth.

TN govt decides to release convicts in Rajiv Gandhi assassination

The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Ms.Jayalalithaa today said that the State Cabinet has decided to release the three convicts, Murugan, Santhan and Perarivalan in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, within three days from today.
Making a suo moto statement in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, Ms. Jayalalithaa emphatically said that the decision would be conveyed to the Central Government as per the Indian Constitution and even if the Centre rejects the decision, they will be released within three days.
Other convicts who were sentenced to life imprisonment, namely, Nalini, Jayakumar, Robert Paes and Ravichandran will also be released. Ms. Jayalalithaa also said that the state government considered that they have spent 23 years of their life in prison.
Anna Hazare to campaign for Mamata

Addressing media Anna Hazare today showered lavish praise onto Mamta’s lifestyle, political ideology and in this backdrop,social activist Anna Hazare consented to campaign for Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress in the Lok Sabha polls. Announcing the decision at a joint news conference with Banerjee in New Delhi today, Hazare, however, clarified that his support is not to a political party or individual but for Mamata Banerjee’s ideology. He said she has promised him to implement his 17-point agenda if she comes to power. Land acquisition, FDI in retail and black money among other issues are on the 17-point agenda.
The anti-graft activist said he will also support independent candidates with good morals in the polls. Hazare said, he will neither support Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal nor BJP’s Prime Ministerial nominee Narendra Modi.
Mamata Banerjee said her party will neither support Congress nor BJP after the Lok Sabha polls. She said her party will fight elections in States including Delhi, Assam, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh. She said if Anna advises, then her party will also contest polls in Maharashtra.
Three bills with RS approving them without discussion

Parliament has passed three bills with the Rajya Sabha approving them today without discussion. The bills are: Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending), Governors Emoluments, Allowances and Privileges) Amendment and National Institutes of Technology, Science Education and Research (Amendment). The bills were adopted by the Lok Sabha earlier. The Upper House also adopted the Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University Bill 1012 by voice vote and without discussion. Earlier, leaders of all parties in the House had agreed to pass these bills as they were non-controversial. The Street Vending Bill aims at protecting the rights of urban street vendors and regulating street vending activities. The Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University Bill provides for establishment of an agricultural university in Bundelkhand Region in Uttar Pradesh for the development of farming and furtherance of research in agriculture and allied sciences in the region. The House was adjourned for half an hour to meet at 5 PM but later adjourned for the day.

Life in Seemandhra hit by bandh against AP division
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy today quit his post and primary membership of Congress party, protesting against the state’s division. State Governor E S L Narasimhan has accepted the resignation.
Before tendering his resignation, Mr Reddy expressed his strong protest against the decision of the Central government to divide Telugu speaking people for the sake of votes and seats. Stating that the interests of people on both sides will be damaged, he held the political parties including Congress responsible for the bifurcation. He also strongly condemned the alleged violations of democratic practices adopted by the Centre during the passage of the AP Reorganisation Bill in the Lok Sabha.

Recalling the strong bonds of his family with the Congress party, he said, hearts of crores of people are bleeding in pain as the future generations will loose resources, education, employment and facilities. He did not specify about his future political action including floating a new party.
Eight state ministers and over 25 MLAs also went to meet the Governor along with Mr. Reddy. Most of them have already tendered resignation from their posts and the Legislature.
Our Correspondent reports that strongly condemning the way the state bifurcation is being pushed, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy quit both his post and party.
A number of legislators across party lines from Seemandhra region also tendered resignations a day after the Lok Sabha passed the bill facilitating formation of the separate Telangana state. His resignation has also been approved immediately. He has been vehemently opposing the state bifurcation for the past few days and even sat on dharna in Delhi against the decision of his party high command.
He took reins of the government in November 2010 and the state witnessed several disturbances both in favour of bifurcation and also against it during the past 3 years and three months period. Despite Mr Reddy’s repeated affirmations about his last ball, the Ranji player himself out with a heavy heart without even bowling.
Meanwhile, near total bandh is underway in Seemandhra region following separate calls given by political parties against the state bifurcation. Security has been beefed up at many places as the protests marked the days against the passage of the state reorganisation bill in the Lok Sabha. Educational institutes, shops and business establishments remained closed while offices and banks have been shut down. The public transport has been the worst hit posing severe inconvenience to commuters.
