Somalia Turkish embassy bombing

A car loaded with explosives has killed two people in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, after slamming into the Turkish embassy. “A suicide car bomb targeted a building housing Turkish embassy workers. So far two people dead,” Ahmed Mohamud, a police officer, told Reuters from the scene of the explosion. It is not yet clear who was behind the bombing, but in the past Al-Qaeda-linked militants from al Shabaab have claimed responsibility for attacks, including a blast in mid-July that killed eight civilians.
