 As you may be aware, FICCI is actively pursuing the agenda of sports and sports business development in India. FICCI is organizing “TURF 2012” which has two components 4th Global Sports Summit and India Sports Awards. It is scheduled to be held 18-19 Oct, 2012. We are organizing India Sports Awards in partnership with E18, the events and entertainment arm of Network 18 to make this a truly national platform for celebrating sporting achievement of the highest standards within India. 
 
India Sports Awards are supported by Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and Sports Authority of India. These awards are an attempt by FICCI to acknowledge the contribution of sports in India and to felicitate the Sports Achievers, support sports and those who have been doing excellent work in Sports Promotion which is ultimately bringing pride to the nation.
 
We request you to send nominations from your organization for the following award category (nomination form attached)

This year, the event will be much bigger and better with a more comprehensive effort going into the stage management and production of the event. With the addition of several television platforms, the program will also receive a wider viewing audience, something that will hold us in good stead as we go forward in our bid to make this award the definitive award in Indian sports.
