Do save the date for the concert

“Dear Friends,
It gives me great deal of pleasure and honour to inform you that the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi will be hosting a concert of Martinu Czech Philharmonic Orchestra at Siri Fort Auditorium in Delhi on January 12th, 2018 at 19.30.
This musical feast is organized as a part of events to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Czech Republic and India.
The entire team of the Embassy would be delighted if you, your spouse, your friends, as well as other Indians who are interested in a Western Classical Music could grace the occasion by their presence.
The only requested from those who are interested is to register themselves through the following link https://goo.gl/forms/VrNbwidqqxFDnVFa2.
Upon registration, the Embassy will start forwarding complimentary tickes that will serve as entry passes.
Let me also inform you that the repertoire of the Martinu Czech Philharmonic to be conducted by maestro Debashish Chaudhuri will include master pieces by Smetana, Rachmaninoff and Dvorak.
The Orchestra, one of the best in the Czech Republic, was established in 1920 in the Czech city of Zlin as part of the Bata shoe making factory under the name of “Bata Symphony Orchestra”.
Since then, the orchestra has changed its name a few times. However, the quality of music, enthusiasm and skill remained and kept strengthening until today. The Martinu Czech Philharmonic nowadays carries the name of the Czech composer Bohuslav Martinu.
Finally, I would like to advise you that the concert which is a part of the 2018 India Tour can only take place thanks to the tremendous generosity of the musicians as well as of many Czech and Indian companies.
I look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible on January 12th, 2018 at Siri Fort Auditorium in Delhi on January 12th, 2018 at 19.30.
