Election Commission has seized over 83 Crore rupees cash from the five poll bound states of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand.
An official release said, the Commission has seized over 79 Crore rupees from Uttar Pradesh, four crore from Punjab, 33 lakh from Uttrakhand and around 7 lakh rupees from Manipur.
Election Commission has seized more than seven lakh litres of liquor from these poll bound states worth around 12 crore 6 lakh rupees. The commission has also seized more than 1400 kilogram of Drugs and Narcotics worth around 10 crore 30 lakh rupees.
