Traders to hold massive rally in protest of Modi Government’s Tughlaqi firmaan of demonetization at Azadpur Mandi
clampdown?
AAP National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to address the gathering.
Traders, shopkeepers and labourers will assemble at a massive rally at the Azadpur Mandi on Thursday, 17 November, to protest the Narendra Modi Government’s Tughlaqi firmaan of demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes. The rally will be addressed by the National Convener of the Aam Aadmi Party and Chief Minister of Delhi, Shri Arvind Kejriwal. He will bring up the disastrous impact that demonetization has had on ordinary people, who have spent the last week in long queues all day long. Mr Kejriwal will also expose how the demonetization is turning out to be a front for a huge corruption scam.
During the Delhi Assembly’s special session, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had not only spoken about the demonetization of old currency being a scam, but had also attacked the Bhartiya Janata Party and PM Modi for informing their friends and associates about this move well in advance. He had lamented about the double standards displayed by Mr Modi and the BJP, as their large industrialist friends had been allowed to launder their money, while ordinary, honest citizens were being forced to line up in long queues, sometimes even resulting in people losing their lives.
Mr Kejriwal also presented before the Delhi Assembly strong documentary evidence to back up his allegations against then CM of Gujarat Narendra Modi. Incriminating evidence obtained from the Aditya Birla Group show that India’s Prime Minister had accepted bribes amounting to Rs 25 crores from the Group during his tenure as Gujarat CM. This makes Mr Modi India’s first Prime Minister whose name has figured in a case of organised graft. This new revelation will also be discussed by AAP’s National Convener during the rally on Thursday.
The rally will alert people about how the Modi Government is forcing honest citizens to deposit hard-earned money into banks, which they will be lending out to large and wealthy industrialists. The Modi Government has already shown how non-serious it is when it comes to recovering people’s money from defaulters when it gave safe passage for wilful defaulter Vijay Mallya out of the country, and facilitated the transfer of Rs 5000 crore to off-shore benami accounts by Gautam Adani.
The demonetization scheme is one of the biggest scams in modern day India and is a betrayal of the people of India on the part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The rally at Azadpur Mandi will discuss all of these issues and expose the Modi Government.
