India Country Programme Evaluation

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) of the Ministry of Finance of India are pleased to invite you to a workshop on the India Country Programme Evaluation conducted by theIndependent Office of Evaluation of IFAD. The event will take placein New Delhi on Thursday, 12 May 2016. The venue of the workshop is the Regency Ball Room at the Hyatt Regency Hotel,Bhikaiji Cama Place, Ring Road, New Delhi.

The objectives of the above workshop are to: (i) discuss the mainfindings and strategic recommendations emerging from the recent IFAD India Country Programme Evaluation and; (ii) provide anopportunity for reflecting on key issues and strategic priorities forthe forthcoming India Country Strategic Opportunities Programme.

The workshop will be attended by representatives from theGovernment of India, IFAD Management and Staff, NGOs and civilsociety organizations (national and international), directors ofIFAD-funded projects and programmes, academics and researchinstitutions, private sector and foundations, international donors andselected resource persons.

Just following the high-level segment of the Workshop that will begin at 9 a.m., we have arranged for a slot for media interaction at 10.15 a..m.
