Accord on Lokpal Bill to bring it in Rajya Sabha

A day after the select committee of Rajya Sabha approved report on Lokpal, political parties are confident that Lokpal will be passed in the winter session.
A Member of the Select Committee JDU leader Shivanand Tiwari on Tuesday said that the CBI will report to the Lokpal on certain cases referred to the agency by Lokpal.
For all other matters the CBI will report to the government.
Tiwari further said that the Prime Minister will also be brought under the Lokpal in some cases.
Meanwhile, Union Water Resources Minister Harish Rawat said that many of the demands by social activist Anna Hazare regarding the Lokpal Bill have been met, hence Hazare should not criticise the bill.
