India lost first cricket Test match against Australia

1st Test: Australia 260 (U Yadav 4-32) & 285 (S Smith 109) Beat India 105 (S O’Keeffe 6-35) & 107 (S O’Keeffe 6-35) by 333 runs
Team India ranks first in the world  has lost to its counterparts Australia which is ranked second in the global ranking.Team Australia made impact on the field with their unique bowling,batting and class fielding thus dominated the game in all departments.

The star performers of team India batsmen which acquire their mettle after warm up game has received severe blow to their performance but the lack of two more batmen of depth could have revived the game.Two duo  visitors Nathan Lyon  and Steeve  left-arm spinner pierced castle with  a sensational match-haul of 12 wickets as a sloppy India slumped to a humiliating 333-run defeat
India have lost the first cricket Test match against Australia played at Pune by 333 runs. Requiring 441 runs, the Indian batsmen could muster only 107 runs before being bowled out within 34 overs. Seven of the Indian batsmen could score only in single digits.
For the guests, Steve O’Keefe again claimed six wickets, adding to his first innings kitty of six for 35, while Nathan Lyon scalped remaining four.
Earlier, Australia were all-out for 285 in their second innings at lunch against India.
The Australian skipper Smith scored 109 off 202 balls with 11 boundaries, an innings that will certainly be considered as one of the best by an overseas batsman on a devilish Indian track which had sharp turn and bounce. It was his fifth consecutive century against India in as many Tests.
Australia lead the 4-match series 1-nil.
Final scores : Australia – 260 and 285.
India – 105 and 107.
