AAP reaction on assault on DM North West Delhi by BJP MP’s supporters :
The Aam Aadmi Party strongly condemns the assault on District Magistrate of North West Delhi by supporters of BJP MP Udit Raj in his office.
The BJP is bringing a dangerous political culture to the national capital by unleashing its hoodlums on senior administrative officers, who refuse to obey their illegal diktats.
It is extremely shocking that the Private Secretary of a BJP MP led a mob into the office of a DM and assaulted him in full public view.
The AAP wants to know from the Delhi Police how much time will it take to arrest the culprits involved in assaulting a senior IAS officer, the CCTV footage of which is also in public domain.
The people of Delhi are eagerly awaiting a public response from the Delhi Police Commissioner, who is at the forefront to air his views against the elected government of Delhi.
The BJP has been misusing the Delhi Police to terrorise honest officers, and this is not the first instance in which BJP workers are involved in attacking officers on duty.
The AAP demands immediate arrest of the culprits and the BJP’s central government should also make its stand clear about what kind of conduct its MPs are preaching.
